On Saturday, health officials in Russia logged 177,282 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 12.6 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 83.2% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 714 Covid-related deaths for a total of 334,753 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.
Globally, over 392 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 312 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 5.7 million worldwide.
