On Monday, health officials in Russia logged 73,162 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 17.0 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 86.3% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 668 Covid-related deaths for a total of 356,949 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.
Globally, over 44 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 380 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 6.0 million worldwide.
