On Monday, health officials in Greece logged 26,995 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 2.8 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 90.1% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 58 Covid-related deaths for a total of 26,995 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.
Globally, over 471 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 407 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 6.0 million worldwide.
The status of Covid-19 cases in Canada, Bangladesh, India, Spain, Portugal, the Philippines and the UK do not reflect complete data for March 21, 2022.
