On Tuesday, health officials in Poland logged 10,149 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 5.9 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 89.0% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 133 Covid-related deaths for a total of 114,355 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.
Globally, over 473 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 409 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 6.0 million worldwide.
The status of Covid-19 cases in Canada, Bangladesh, India, Portugal and the Philippines do not reflect complete data for March 22, 2022.
