On Monday, health officials in Germany logged 214,035 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 20.4 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 77.6% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 159 Covid-related deaths for a total of 129,106 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.
Globally, over 478 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 417 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 6.1 million worldwide.
The status of Covid-19 cases in India, Spain, Portugal and the UK do not reflect complete data for March 28, 2022.
