On Thursday, health officials in Germany logged 208,653 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 21.1 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 78.1% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 241 Covid-related deaths for a total of 129,983 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.
Globally, over 487 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 422 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 6.1 million worldwide.
The status of Covid-19 cases in India, Spain, Portugal and Bangladesh do not reflect complete data for March 31, 2022.
