After logging another 17,550 new infections in the last 24-hours, Germany’s Covid-19 case count surpassed 3.5 million, with 89.3% of all cases recovered. Since yesterday, Covid-related deaths increased by 245, brining the total to just over 85,000 fatalities.
Globally, over 156 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 135 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 3.2 million worldwide.
