Welcome to the Canadian National Multilingual News Group (CNMNG). This is a project made possible through funding by Canadian Heritage. CNMNG aims to gather news researched and written by a corps of Canadian-based journalists/writers from the country’s multilingual community groups. The overall goal is to inform, analyze and critique the issues of the day in a professional manner and to provide that to publishers and editors active in the ethnocultural-multilingual press and media whose experience provides them with a perspective that is sensitive to news relevant to their own language group.
TORONTO – Oltre 900 nuove infezioni da Covid-19 e altri 8 decessi correlati al virus, ieri, in Ontario. I funzionari sanitari provinciali hanno registrato 959 casi, rispetto ai 780 di mercoledì e ai 748 di una settimana fa. All’inizio di questa settimana, erano stati segnalati 964 casi domenica, 788 lunedì e 687 martedì. Riprende la salita dei contagi, dunque, ancora una volta durante il fine settimana…
TORONTO – Over 900 new Covid-19 infections and another 8 deaths related to the virus, today, in Ontario. Provincial health officials recorded 959 cases, up from 780 on Wednesday and 748 a week ago. Earlier this week, 964 cases had been reported on Sunday, 788 on Monday and 687 on Tuesday. The rise of infections resumes, therefore, once again during the weekend. (more…)
TORONTO – The trend of the last few weeks is also confirmed in this one: at the arrival of the weekend, the infections rise and today they were 748, a sharp increase compared to the 591 of just 24 hours earlier. The seven-day moving average continues to rise, reaching 692 (a week ago it was 597). With 33,932 tests processed in the last 24 hours, the positivity rate rises to 2.6% from 2% a week ago. (more…)
