Welcome to the Canadian National Multilingual News Group (CNMNG). This is a project made possible through funding by Canadian Heritage. CNMNG aims to gather news researched and written by a corps of Canadian-based journalists/writers from the country’s multilingual community groups. The overall goal is to inform, analyze and critique the issues of the day in a professional manner and to provide that to publishers and editors active in the ethnocultural-multilingual press and media whose experience provides them with a perspective that is sensitive to news relevant to their own language group.
TORONTO – Controversy over mandatory vaccine for certain categories in Ontario and Canada is re-erupted. The issue, thorny and controversial, has been lying under the ashes for some time, covered in recent weeks by the noise of the electoral campaign and the media fury on parties, leaders and their programs. Closed the voting chapter, the issue has re-ebbed in recent days in a disruptive way, causing a trail of controversy, accusations and poisons with uncertain outcomes. (more…)
TORONTO – Another step backwards and new directives for vaccines. After last week hinted that Ontario in ten days at most would reach such a level of vaccinations that it would allow it to loosen all remaining restrictions, today the Chief Medical Officer of Health Kieran Moore (in the pic, credit: Twitter, AwesomeKingston), said that at the moment this project is suspended.
