According to data last updated on March 1, numbers released by the Ministry of Health show health officials administered 16,438 vaccine doses on Monday, up from 10,810 doses the day prior.

Cala invece ancora il dato delle terapie intensive, da 281 pazienti domenica a 279 ieri (dei quali 171 con il ventilatore). Il numero totale dei ricoverati resta ancora abbondantemente sotto quota mille, dove era sceso per la prima volta proprio l’altro ieri. Nel giro di una sola settimana, il numero di pazienti con il coronavirus presenti negli ospedali è diminuito di oltre 200 unità…

TORONTO – Almost all the restrictions launched in Ontario to fight the Covid-19 pandemic have been lifted. From tomorrow the vaccination certificate will no longer be necessary to access indoor environments of non-essential activities. This is the most important change: this means that businesses, for example, will no longer be required to ask customers for proof of at least two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine to allow entry. Stores, however, to ensure the safety of their staff and for the peace of mind it offers to their customers, can nevertheless continue to keep the vaccination certificate in force.

TORONTO – Scende finalmente sotto quota cento il numero di persone ricoverate in ospedale con Covid-19 in Ontario: è la prima volta dalla fine di dicembre, anche se i funzionari sanitari provinciali ricordano che non tutti gli ospedali riferiscono i propri dati durante il fine settimana. Comunque sono adesso 842 i pazienti-Covid, dei quali 281 in terapia intensiva.
