On Thursday, health officials in Germany logged 82,285 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 14.1 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 88.7% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 111 Covid-related deaths for a total of 122,733 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.

TORONTO – The hospitalizations decrease almost every day, the positivity rate as well but there is a number that never goes down, in the daily Covid-19 data: that of deaths. Today in Ontario, 41 were registered and, even if the Ministry of Health is keen to emphasize that most of these are “earlier” deaths, the data cannot fail to worry and in any case raises the tragic death toll in the province, from the beginning of the pandemic, to 12,347.

TORONTO – Lieve aumento delle ospedalizzazioni Covid, ieri, inOntario. 1.106 le persone in ospedale, contro le 1.038 dell’altro ieri. 319 in terapia intensiva, stesso numero di martedì. Scende però la percentuale di chi è all’ospedale effettivamente per il virus e non per altre patologie: il 49% per i reparti ordinari Covid, il 77,5% per le terapie intensive. Of the cumulative total number of cases 88.7% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 360 Covid-related deaths for a total of 110,517 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.

Covid-19: ricoverati in calo e la metà non ha sintomi

TORONTO – Diminuisce ancora il numero delle persone ricoverate con il Covid-19 negli ospedali e nelle unità di terapia intensiva in tutto l’Ontario. Ieri il totale era di 1.038 pazienti, dunque in ulteriore calo rispetto ai 1.056 di domenica (lunedì non sono stati forniti i dati per la festività del Family Day). L’ultima volta che la provincia aveva segnalato meno di 1.038 persone in ospedale con il virus risale al 30 dicembre del 2021, quando c’erano 965 ricoverati. On Tuesday, health officials in Portugal logged 13,103 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 3.2 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 84.8% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 28 Covid-related deaths for a total of 20,894 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.

Covid-19 in Ontario: hospitalized in decline and half have no symptoms

TORONTO – The number of people covered with Covid-19 in hospitals and intensive care units across Ontario is still decreasing. Today the total was 1,038 patients, therefore a further decrease compared to the 1,056 on Sunday (data were not provided on Monday, Family Day holiday). The last time the province had reported fewer than 1,038 people at hospital with the virus was on December 30, 2021, when there were 965 hospitalized.
