Welcome to the Canadian National Multilingual News Group (CNMNG). This is a project made possible through funding by Canadian Heritage. CNMNG aims to gather news researched and written by a corps of Canadian-based journalists/writers from the country’s multilingual community groups. The overall goal is to inform, analyze and critique the issues of the day in a professional manner and to provide that to publishers and editors active in the ethnocultural-multilingual press and media whose experience provides them with a perspective that is sensitive to news relevant to their own language group.
TORONTO – The total number of deaths related to Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic in Ontario is approaching 13 thousand: today, 31 registered deaths (the highest number added to the provincial tally in more than a month), in addition to 16 just 24 hours earlier. The total is now 12,889.

TORONTO – 1.410 i pazienti Covid presenti negli ospedali dell’Ontario, ieri, vale a dire 266 in meno rispetto a sabato, ma 48 in più rispetto ad una settimana fa quando erano 1.362. Continuano dunque ad essere altalenanti i dati delle ospedalizzazioni, anche se per quanto riguarda ieri occorre tenere presente che durante il weekend non tutti gli ospedali forniscono gli aggiornamenti. Anche il numero di pazienti nelle terapie intensive potrebbe dunque esserre superiore a quello indicato ieri, cioè 187…
TORONTO – 1,410 Covid patients present in Ontario hospitals today, 266 fewer than Saturday but 48 more than a week ago when they were 1,362. The data on hospitalizations, therefore, continue to be fluctuating, even if during the weekend not all hospitals provide updates.
