On Saturday, health officials in Greece logged 1,497 new infections bringing the total caseload to more than 400,000 since the onset of the pandemic. Of that cumulative total, 91.5% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, Covid-related deaths increased by 29 for a total of 12,024 fatalities.
Globally, over 169 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 152 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 3.5 million worldwide.
Spain has not updated the status of Covid-19 cases since May 28, 2021.
Portugal has not reported any fatalities in the last 24-hours.
