TORONTO – In 2022, 13,241 Canadians chose assisted death. An impressive number, especially when compared to California, where a very similar bill system is in force: in the same year, there were 853 assisted deaths in the American state. QUEBEC – “Referendum”. A word that, associated with “Quebec”, makes the Canadian federal government tremble. It was pronounced on Tuesday by the Premier of Quebec, François Legault, who once again asked Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to reduce the number of temporary immigrants in the province, threatening to hold a “referendum” on the issue and, maybe “on other subjets”. TORONTO – School-trustee Michael Del Grande of the TCDSB (Toronto Catholic District School Board) has presented – last March 21st – a motion that will be discussed and voted at the board meeting on April 23 to require every school in the TCDSB, and the offices of the District, to fly the international pro-life flag, every year, in the month of May, starting this year.
