On Monday, health officials in the Philippines logged 10,748 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 2.6 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases, 94.4% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, Covid-related deaths increased by 61, bringing the total number of fatalities to 38,828.
Globally, over 235 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 212 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 4.8 million worldwide.
Poland has not reported any Covid-related fatalities on October 4, 2021.
