On Sunday, health officials in Greece logged 3,225 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 1.0 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases, 91.7% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 88 Covid-related deaths for a total of 19,245 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.
Globally, over 270 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 243 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 5.3 million worldwide.
Spain has not updated the status of Covid-19 cases since December 10, 2021.
