On Saturday, health officials in Poland logged 51,695 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 4.8 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 81.9% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 231 Covid-related deaths for a total of 105,138 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.
Globally, over 371 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 293 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 5.6 million worldwide.
