On Wednesday, health officials in Greece logged 11,061 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 3.2 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 94.3% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 70 Covid-related deaths for a total of 28,344 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.
Globally, over 501 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 451 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 6.1 million worldwide.
