After logging less than 3,000 cases for the past two days in a row, health officials in Ontario recorded another 3,424 new infection. The province is reporting 877 patients in the ICU, down from more than 900 earlier this month.
Globally, over 155 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 134 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 3.2 million worldwide.
