On Wednesday, health officials in Greece logged 11,487 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 3.3 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 96.8% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 46 Covid-related deaths for a total of 29,002 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.
Globally, over 511 million cases have confirmed positive for Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 464 million people have recovered. Fatalities attributable to Covid-19 now surpass 6.2 million worldwide.
