Welcome to the Canadian National Multilingual News Group (CNMNG). This is a project made possible through funding by Canadian Heritage. CNMNG aims to gather news researched and written by a corps of Canadian-based journalists/writers from the country’s multilingual community groups. The overall goal is to inform, analyze and critique the issues of the day in a professional manner and to provide that to publishers and editors active in the ethnocultural-multilingual press and media whose experience provides them with a perspective that is sensitive to news relevant to their own language group.

TORONTO – The deadline for Ontario’s long-term care homes was set for tomorrow to be fully immunized against Covid-19 but the government has decided to postpone it until December 13. This was announced by the spokesperson of the Minister of Long Term Care Rod Phillips Vanessa De Matteis: by today, however, the staff of these houses must receive at least the first dose of the vaccine. ROMA – În Italia, curba infecțiilor și a victimelor, în cel de-al treilea val al pandemiei Covid-19, scade de la o zi la alta. Ieri s-au înregistrat 2.897 de cazuri noi de infecție cu coronavirus, găsite după analiza a 226.272 teste, cu indicele pozitiv de 1,3%. În ultimele 24 de ore, au fost înregistrate alte 62 de decese, în scădere față de 93 inregistrate marți, ceea ce a însemnat ca numărul total de decese este de 126.283 de la începutul pandemiei.
