Welcome to the Canadian National Multilingual News Group (CNMNG). This is a project made possible through funding by Canadian Heritage. CNMNG aims to gather news researched and written by a corps of Canadian-based journalists/writers from the country’s multilingual community groups. The overall goal is to inform, analyze and critique the issues of the day in a professional manner and to provide that to publishers and editors active in the ethnocultural-multilingual press and media whose experience provides them with a perspective that is sensitive to news relevant to their own language group.
PHOENIX (Arizona, Usa) – Completely sold out, full of suprises, with a multidisciplinary cast, the show consists of live music, dance and acting with a singing music director, different scenes of the show tell the story of the evolution of Argentine tango, numbers that are comedic, ironic, sarcastic, nostalgic, melancholic, and full of adrenaline. Highlighted by each tango couple having their individual style and personality within the dance.
TOKYO – ‘Azzurri’ athletes have won a record breaking 40 medals for Italy, including 10 golds, more than traditional European sports powerhouses Germany and France, and even more than the 36 Italy had previously won at Los Angeles 1936 and at their home Olympics in Rome in 1960, their previous best mark.
