Welcome to the Canadian National Multilingual News Group (CNMNG). This is a project made possible through funding by Canadian Heritage. As China and Bangladesh were not invited to the US President Joe Biden’s Summit for Democracy, Pakistan did not join being invited. Apparently Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan did not receive any phone call since President Biden has taken office. The Pakistan government has chosen not participate, but Wednesday Islamabad said that it was “thankful” to the US government for the invite. This summit is being held for the first time on 8-10 December, with countries participating virtually. →
TORONTO – It may not come as a surprise to China, as the Prime Minister may claim, but I will bet it does to the Chinese community in the country. Canada is not going to participate in the Beijing Winter Olympics and Para-Olympics… well, there will not be any Canadian “diplomatic representation”. →

TORONTO – If there is a parent still oblivious to the [inferior] quality of skills preparation offered at the school his/her child attends, it is time to wake up. High schools are beginning to “offer acceptance letters” to grade eight grads. Universities and Colleges are preparing theirs for high school grads. →

The Covid-19 pandemic has presented challenges for Ontario’s critical care system. As infections trend upward, the scientific community cautions that hospital admissions will likely climb in the weeks to come.
On December 6, the Ministry of Health reported 168 patients in the province’s Intensive Care Units (ICU) due to Covid-related critical illness. That is the highest number of Covid-related ICU patients in more than two months, when the number reached 171 Covid ICU patients on September 30.
