Ontario today reached 544,414 overall positives, an increase of 210 new cases compared to Sunday. Meanwhile, the total number of victims in Ontario has risen to 9,129 with 3 more deaths than the previous day. The number of recovered people in the province rose to 532,779 or 326 more than the previous 24 hours. There are 143,350 cases so far registered in Ontario of the English variant of Covid, 1,273 of the South African variant, 4,428 of the Brazilian variant and 1.629 of the Indian variant.
today there were 302 people still in hospital, 287 of them in intensive care and 191 connected to ventilators for assisted breathing.
