Ontario today reached 547,263 overall positives, an increase of 114 new cases compared to Sunday, the lowest number of new positives since last September 1. The total number of victims in In Ontario 114 new infected and no new deaths has meanwhile remained to 9,251, with no more deaths than the previous day. The number of recovered people in the province rose to 536,402 or 96 more than the previous 24 hours.
There are 144,714 cases so far registered in Ontario of the English variant of Covid, 1,440 of the South African variant, 4,818 of the Brazilian variant and 2,711 of the Indian variant.
Today there were 209 people still in hospital, 204 of them in intensive care and 155 connected to ventilators for assisted breathing. In the city of Vaughan, the total number of people tested positive for Covid-19 was 21,813 today, with 4 more new infections than in the previous 24 hours. 301 deaths, with no more new deaths recorded today.
In Woodbridge today there were 9,386 total cases of positivity since the Covid-19 pandemic started, 6,783 in Maple, 7,509 in Richmond Hill and 12,556 in Markham.
In the Peel Region today there were 111,554 coronavirus positives, 13 more than the last survey and 817 total victims, with no more deaths than on the last bulletin. There were 110,604 healings recorded in total, while 3,231 people were hospitalized.
In Mississauga, the total number of people who tested positive for the coronavirus was 40,448 today, 7 more than last Sunday. Also in Mississauga were today 453 victims so far, with no more deaths recorded, while there were 39,949 people recovered from Covid-19.
In Brampton the total number of people positive for Covid-19 was today 66,453 with 6 new cases of contagion more than on Sunday. 342 confirmed deaths, with no more victims since the last bulletin, while 66,028 were found to be healed today.
In Caledon, there were 4,444 registered infections today, with no more cases than on Sunday, while 4,419 had recovered and 20 victims overall, with no more deaths confirmed.
In Hamilton the total number of positives today was 21,397 with 6 new cases of contagion more than in the last testing cycle, while the number of victims so far ascertained was 400, with no more new deaths recorded in the last 24 hours.
In Ottawa, 27,729 people were infected today, with no more new positives compared to the last survey, while 592 people died, with no more new deaths recorded since the last bulletin. The healed in the capital today were a total of 27,102.
In Quebec today there were 52 new registered cases for a total of 375,915 infected, with one more additional death per 11.231 total victims.
