টরন্টো – জনস্বাস্থ্যের প্রধান স্বাস্থ্য কর্মকর্তার পরামর্শক্রমে অন্টারিও সরকার টরন্টো, পিল এবং নর্থ বে প্যারি সাউন্ড জেলা জনস্বাস্থ্য অঞ্চলগুলোকে অবরুদ্ধতাকে স্বাভাবিক জীবনযাত্রায় ফেরাতে কোভিড-১৯ মোকাবেলায় সংশোধিত ও সুসংসহত অবকাঠামোয় রূপান্তর করেছে, যাতে অন্টারিওকে নিরাপদ রাখা যায়, যেখানে ওই “অবকাঠামোয়”, উন্মুক্ততার পাশাপাশি ঘরে আবদ্ধ থাকার নির্দেশ কার্যকর হবে না। উপরন্তু,  তাতে আরও সাতটি জনস্বাস্থ্য অঞ্চল নতুন স্তরে ধাবিত। এ সকল সিদ্ধান্ত জনস্বাস্থ্যে নিয়োজিত স্থানীয় স্বাস্থ্য কর্মকর্তাদের সাথে পরামর্শক্রমে  এবং জনস্বাস্থ্যের সূচক ও স্থানীয় প্রেক্ষাপট এবং শর্তগুলোর সর্বশেষ প্রবণতার দিক বিবেচনায় নেয়া হয়েছে। Continue reading→

The world continues to enact new closures, policies and lockdowns to contain the outbreak of Covid-19, while the bubble with which the Canadian Atlantic is protected seems to have an effect. Even as the rest of Canada has crossed another daunting threshold with more than 800,000 cases, the Atlantic region continues its pace of life. Continue reading→
