TORONTO – Prime Minister Doug Ford tried a magic shot by including the beds in newly built Long Term Care Homes (nursing and retirement homes for the elderly) in the house count. And he did it openly. He also told reporters on Friday: “I challenge anyone to talk to these elderly people and tell them they have a bed and not a house” the Ontario premier said. “They have their own room, they eat in a dining room with everyone else. TORONTO – Il Budget dell’Ontario sarà presentato a Queen’s Park il prossimo 26 marzo. La conferma è arrivata ieri dal ministro delle Finanze Peter Bethlenfalvy (nella foto sopra), che ha anche anticipato come nella Manovra 2024 non è prevista la presenza di nuove tasse. L’anticipazione è stata fatta direttamente su un post del ministro su X. “Unitevi a me – ha scritto – mentre descrivo come stiamo ricostruendo l’economia dell’Ontario senza aumentare le tasse e le tasse o mettere più oneri sulle imprese e sui Comuni”…
