Meanwhile, the total number of victims in Ontario has risen to 9,154 with 6 more deaths than the previous day. The number of recovered people in the province rose to 533,150 or 371 more than the previous 24 hours. There are 143,381 cases so far registered in Ontario of the English variant of Covid, 1,315 of the South African variant, 4,439 of the Brazilian variant and 1.704 of the Indian variant.
today there were 297 people still in hospital, 276 of them in intensive care and 185 connected to ventilators for assisted breathing.
