In Ontario 370 new infected and 7 more deaths

TORONTO – June 17, 2021: Canada stood today at 1,405,888 positives for Covid-19, an increase of 1,090 more cases than in the previous 24 hours. Ontario today reached 541,180 overall positives, an increase of 370 new cases compared to Wednesday. Meanwhile, the total number of victims in Ontario has risen to 8,993, with 7 more deaths than the previous day. The number of recovered people in the province rose to 527,797 or 635 more than the previous 24 hours. There are 141,472 cases so far registered in Ontario of the English variant of Covid, 1,144 of the South African variant and 4,187 of the Brazilian variant.

In Mississauga, the total number of people who tested positive for the coronavirus was 40,168 today, 31 more than last Wednesday.
