The total number of victims in Ontario has meanwhile risen to 8,957, with 7 more deaths than the previous day. The number of recovered people in the province rose to 525,125 or 932 more than the previous 24 hours. There are 139,482 cases so far registered in Ontario of the English variant of Covid, 1,137 of the South African variant and 4,133 of the Brazilian variant.
today there were 501 people still in hospital, 426 of them in intensive care and 273 connected to ventilators for assisted breathing. In Mississauga, the total number of people who tested positive for the coronavirus was 40,042 today, 29 more than last Saturday. In Ottawa, 27,426 people were infected today, with 34 more new positives compared to the last survey, while 585 people died, with one more new death recorded since the last bulletin. The healed in the capital today were a total of 26,491.
In Quebec today there were 151 new registered cases, for a total of 372,989 infected, with 2 more additional deaths, per 11.172 total victims.
