Welcome to the Canadian National Multilingual News Group (CNMNG). This is a project made possible through funding by Canadian Heritage. CNMNG aims to gather news researched and written by a corps of Canadian-based journalists/writers from the country’s multilingual community groups. The overall goal is to inform, analyze and critique the issues of the day in a professional manner and to provide that to publishers and editors active in the ethnocultural-multilingual press and media whose experience provides them with a perspective that is sensitive to news relevant to their own language group.
TORONTO – The deadline for Ontario’s long-term care homes was set for tomorrow to be fully immunized against Covid-19 but the government has decided to postpone it until December 13. This was announced by the spokesperson of the Minister of Long Term Care Rod Phillips Vanessa De Matteis: by today, however, the staff of these houses must receive at least the first dose of the vaccine. →

Dopo i ripetuti no all’obbligo di vaccinazione per i dipendenti delle case di cura a lunga degenza della provincia, nel fine settimana ha annunciato che tutti gli operatori delle LTC dovranno essere immunizzati contro il Covid-19 entro il 15 novembre. I test rapidi, che finora consentivano al personale non vaccinato, di lavorare in queste strutture, vengono accantonati per far posto all’immunizzazione contro il Covid-19…
TORONTO – The Ontario government is rethinking it. After repeated no to the vaccination obligation for employees of Long-Term Care homes in the province, over the weekend he announced that all LTC operators will have to be immunized against Covid-19 by November 15. Rapid tests, which until now allowed unvaccinated staff to work in these facilities, are being shelved to make way for immunization against Covid-19. →

nella LTC ci sono focolai di Covid-19. E questo, denuncia infuriata la donna, perchè il personale, al contrario dei residenti, non è ancora vaccinato.
