It is the smallest daily increase of new infections the province has seen since before the second wave of the pandemic in the middle of September 2020. Meanwhile, the total number of victims in Ontario has risen to 9,082 with 6 more deaths than the previous day. The number of recovered people in the province rose to 530,434 or 442 more than the previous 24 hours. There are 142,393 cases so far registered in Ontario of the English variant of Covid, 1,154 of the South African variant, 4,256 of the Brazilian variant and 916 of the Indian variant.
