The total number of victims in Ontario has meanwhile remained to 9,228, with 4 more deaths than the previous day. The number of recovered people in the province rose to 535,577 or 231 more than the previous 24 hours.
There are 144,569 cases so far registered in Ontario of the English variant of Covid, 1,436 of the South African variant, 4,696 of the Brazilian variant and 2,285 of the Indian variant.
today there were 224 people still in hospital, 215 of them in intensive care and 158 connected to ventilators for assisted breathing.
