September 4, 2023 September 4, 2023 Marzio Pelù

TORONTO – We were told it was “Covid’s fault”, but now that the pandemic is just a memory (new variants permitting…), what is the cause of paralysis in hospital emergency rooms? The question arises when reading the story – reported by CTV – of a Toronto woman who waited 48 hours in a city emergency room despite needing urgent surgery.  Continue reading→

CORRIERE CANADESE / Caro casa, i canadesi ora comprano con parenti e amici

September 1, 2023 September 1, 2023 Mariella Policheni

Read More in Corriere Canadese >>>

Read More in Corriere Canadese >>>

August 31, 2023 August 31, 2023 Marzio Pelù

TORONTO – Firefighters in the Northwest Territories are preparing for a long and difficult weekend as a windstorm is forecast to hit the South Slave Region where fires continue to rage completely out of control. According to the latest reports from firefighters, a few “quiet” days from a meteorological point of view have allowed the crews to contain the fires at Hay River and Fort Smith, but conditions will change: strong winds from the south-southwest are in fact expected tomorrow and hot and dry conditions too: an ideal situation for the growth of the ongoing fires.  Continue reading→
