Here we provide a daily update of the data available for select countries and jurisdictions as of June 26, 2021 at 4:45pm EST.

On Saturday, health officials in Poland logged 100 new infections, the lowest single day increase since the start of the pandemic. Of the cumulative 2.8 confirmed positive cases, 92.1% are considered recovered. Since yesterday, Covid-related deaths increased by 21, bringing the country’s total fatalities to 74,974.

Minister Bennett apologies after Jody Wilson-Raybould accused her

Canada’s Indigenous Relation Minister, Carolyn Bennett apologized publicly to an Indigenous MP yesterday after suggesting Jody Wilson-Raybould’s concern over residential schools and Indigenous rights was really a ploy to secure a generous MP pension. “Earlier I offered my apologies directly to the MP for Vancouver-Granville. I let interpersonal dynamics get the better of me and sent an insensitive and inappropriate comment, which I deeply regret and shouldn’t have done,” Minister Bennett said in a Twitter post (in the screenshot above). TTC dá início à celebração do aniversário com exposições de fotos

Os clientes que viajem na TTC podem notar a instalação de exposições de fotos especiais em 12 estações selecionadas até ao fim da próxima semana. As apresentações comemoram os 100 anos da agência de transporte público.

No próximo dia 1 de setembro de 2021, a TTC vai celebrar 100 anos de operação do serviço em Toronto. As exposições fotográficas são as primeiras de uma série de eventos planeados para assinalar este marco histórico e estão a ser realizados em parceria com os Arquivos da Cidade de Toronto.
