Here we provide a daily update of the data available for select countries and jurisdictions as of July 7, 2021 at 6:00pm EST.
For the second day in a row, health officials in Bangladesh logged over 11,000 new infections. The last two days have been among the highest daily increases since the onset of the pandemic. Of the cumulative 977,568 confirmed positive cases, 87.0% are considered recovered. Since yesterday, Covid-related deaths increased by 201, a record high number of fatalities reported in one day.
Today in Ontario 194 new infected but no more new deaths

TORONTO – July 7, 2021: Canada stood today at 1,418,506 positives for Covid-19, an increase of 466 more cases than in the previous 24 hours. Pressing on Premier Ford to anticipate Step 3

TORONTO – Pressure continues on Premier Doug Ford to bring forward Step 3 of the reopening roadmap. According to the roadmap wanted by the provincial government, the plan on the progressive relaxation of anti-Covid restrictions should comply with two pre-terms: one refers to the mass vaccination campaign in Ontario and the other on timing. $16.3 million to revitalize Toronto’s tourism sector
Toronto’s tourism industry will get a boost of $16.3 million from the provincial government. Ontario’s Minister of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries, Lisa MacLeod, made the announcement today in the heart of the city. In Ontario 164 nuovi contagiati e 9 decessi, neopositivi ai minimi

TORONTO – Il Canada si è attestato ieri a quota 1.418.040 positivi, con un aumento di 625 contagi in più rispetto alle 24 ore precedenti. Le vittime – su scala nazionale – hanno raggiunto ieri quota 26.379 decessi complessivi, 16 in più rispetto alla giornata di lunedì. Il Covid torna a far paura nelle LTC, un morto

TORONTO – Nelle case di cura dell’Ontario si torna a morire. Non ce l’ha fatta un residente di The Village of Tansley Woods Long-Term Care Home che aveva contratto il Covid-19, la variante Delta per essere precisi. Oltre a un membro del personale sono ora 15 i contagi tra gli anziani della casa di cura di Burlington.
