TORONTO – The Supreme Court of Canada (SCC) would seem to have laid down the ground rules for any discussion on the legitimacy of Catholic schools in Ontario’s “public education systems”. A unanimous decision, rendered May 21, 2021, essentially reaffirms that secular courts have no business in the affairs of religious organizations.

Daily update of Ontario’s Covid-19 vaccination campaign
With the largest vaccination campaign underway, the province has administered more than 9.0 million doses into the arms of Ontarians. On May 31, numbers released by the Ministry of Health show health officials administered 97,747 vaccine doses on Sunday, down from 144,833 doses the day prior.
