Welcome to the Canadian National Multilingual News Group (CNMNG). This is a project made possible through funding by Canadian Heritage. CNMNG aims to gather news researched and written by a corps of Canadian-based journalists/writers from the country’s multilingual community groups. The overall goal is to inform, analyze and critique the issues of the day in a professional manner and to provide that to publishers and editors active in the ethnocultural-multilingual press and media whose experience provides them with a perspective that is sensitive to news relevant to their own language group.

برنامه های آموزشی یادگیری زبان خارجی در مدارس
کاتولیک بار دیگر مورد حمله مخالفین قرار گرفت. البته
باعث تعجب نیست زیرا هیئت های مختلف مدارس انتاریو در دوره های متفاوت سعی در حذف زبانهای بینالمللی کردهاند. این عمل دوره ایی درست مثل تکرار فصل مالیات یا حساسیتهای بهاری میباشد. تعجب آور است که این بار مخالفان برنامه، سعی در نشان دادن مخالفت خود در سختترین دوره اپیدمی در عرض صد سال گذشته کرده اند. در زمانی که ما در دوره سوم اپیدمی هستیم و به نظر میرسد که شیوع این بیماری در حال کاهش است ، مدارس استان به دلیل کمبود برنامه ریزی کامل و رهنمودهایی که بتواند ایمنی دانش آموزان و اساتید و کارکنان غیر آموزشی را تضمین کند تعطیل شده است .
اعضای هیئت والدین چهار مدرسه کاتولیک تورنتو در برنامه ایی که از طرف CBC پخش شد از بخش کاتولیک خواسته اند که برنامه اجباری آموزش زبانهای خارجی را به دلیل هزینه بالای آنها حذف کنند و بجای ان موضوعات مهمتری را در برنامه درسی بگنجانند.
