Ontario today reached 543,019 overall positives, an increase of 255 new cases compared to Tuesday. It is the smallest daily increase of new infections the province has seen since September 13. Meanwhile, the total number of victims in Ontario has risen to 9,093 with 11 more deaths than the previous day. The number of recovered people in the province rose to 530,894 or 460 more than the previous 24 hours. There are 142,647 cases so far registered in Ontario of the English variant of Covid, 1,154 of the South African variant, 4,263 of the Brazilian variant and 975 of the Indian variant.

In Ottawa, 27,604 people were infected today, with 15 more new positives compared to the last survey, while 589 people died, with one more new death recorded since the last bulletin. The healed in the capital today were a total of 26,854.
