Ontario today reached 543,315 overall positives, an increase of 296 new cases compared to Wednesday. The total number of victims in Ontario has meanwhile risen to 9,099 with 6 more deaths than the previous day. The number of recovered people in the province rose to 531,278 or 384 more than the previous 24 hours. There are 142,925 cases so far registered in Ontario of the English variant of Covid, 1,156 of the South African variant, 4,270 of the Brazilian variant and 1.056 of the Indian variant.
today there were 284 people still in hospital, 249 of them in intensive care and 189 connected to ventilators for assisted breathing. In Woodbridge today there were 9,346 total cases of positivity since the Covid-19 pandemic started, 6,751 in Maple, 7,485 in Richmond Hill and 12,540 in Markham.
In the Peel Region today there were 111,206 coronavirus positives, 43 more than the last survey and 807 total victims, with no more deaths than on the last bulletin. There were 110,133 healings recorded in total, while 3,196 people were hospitalized.
In Mississauga, the total number of people who tested positive for the coronavirus was 40,294 today, 24 more than last Wednesday. Also in Mississauga were today 449 victims so far, with no more deaths recorded, while there were 39,716 people recovered from Covid-19.
