Status update of Covid-19 cases worldwide

Here we provide a daily update of the data available for select countries and jurisdictions as of April 30, 2022, at 7:30pm EST.

On Saturday, health officials in Canada logged 2,799 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 3.7 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 92.2% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 13 Covid-related deaths for a total of 39,243 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.

Queste le parole bellicose di Ron DeSantis (nella foto sopra, tratta da un video pubblicato sul suo profilo Twitter https://twitter.com/GovRonDeSantis), governatore della Florida, in un messaggio ai suoi sostenitori a cui chiedeva contributi finanziari. Il governatore della Florida gonfiava il petto per reiterare la recente battaglia contro i dirigenti di Disney World i quali avevano avuto la temerità di criticare alcune leggi anti-gay approvate recentemente dal Sunshine State.

Daily update of Ontario’s Covid-19 vaccination campaign

With the largest vaccination campaign underway, the province has administered more than 32.7 million doses into the arms of Ontarians. According to data last updated on April 30, numbers released by the Ministry of Health show health officials administered 30,913 vaccine doses on Friday, down from 33,077 doses the day prior.

Here we provide a daily update of the data available for select countries and jurisdictions as of April 29, 2022, at 8:15pm EST.

On Friday, health officials in Italy logged 58,861 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 16.4 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 91.4% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 133 Covid-related deaths for a total of 163,377 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.

Daily update of Ontario’s Covid-19 Vaccination Campaign
