Party in the streets of Spain over the weekend after the Covid-induced state of emergency was lifted. The Spanish government issued the state of emergency last October to help curb the alarming surge of infections. With the easing of restrictions, Spaniards are free to travel between regions for the first time in months.

In the last 24-hours, the country’s health officials recorded 4,579 additional cases and another 35 Covid-related fatalities.
