In the last four days, India has recorded over one million new cases, with an addition 354,531 cases in the last 24-hours. This is the world’s highest daily tally of coronavirus cases since the onset of the pandemic. The number of Covid-related deaths increased by 2,806 in a single day, setting a new grim record for the highest one-day death count in the country.

Ontario tries to turn the page on vaccines
TORONTO – Ontario is trying to accelerate on the vaccine front. After the controversies of the last two weeks, due to delays and setbacks in the provincial immunization campaign, the provincial government intends to change gears to get to vaccinate as many people as possible with the three vaccines currently available, Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca. Daily update of Ontario’s Covid-19 Vaccination Campaign
With the largest vaccination campaign underway, the province has administered more than 4.6 million doses into the arms of Ontarians. On April 25, the Ministry of Health reported 99,535 doses administered, down from 126,694 doses the day prior.
