MAZARA DEL VALLO (Trapani) – She has launched many appeals in the last seventeen years, since that September 1st when her little Denise, only 4 years old, disappeared from Mazara del Vallo, in Sicily (Italy). Now the mother, Piera Maggio, addresses her directly and does so on social media, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, with a message that moves the whole of Italy.
“Denise, if only you knew how many beautiful people you have around you. In all these years, you have acquired many uncles and grandparents, people who have learned to love you as mom and dad wanted “, wrote the woman yesterday in a post (here below) in which she tagged Denise’s natural father, Piero Pulizzi, and that has had thousands of views and comments.
Piera Maggio therefore wanted to write directly to her daughter, perhaps in the hope that she can read her message. A hope fueled by the many reports that have followed one another since the case has returned to high attention thanks to the story of Olesya Rostova, the young woman who, from Russia, had told of being kidnapped in 2004 and then ending up in an orphanage: the blood tests had then revealed that Olesya was not Denise (read our article: “Olesya is not Denise”: hope collapses on TV like in a reality show) but since then the case of the little child disappearance from Mazara del Vallo had returned to the fore and in those days the Marsala Public Prosecutor had reopened the case, on which investigations are still underway among new testimonies, inspections, anonymous letters and, in fact, reports including – the most sensational, later denied – that of the former prosecutor Maria Angioni, who had investigated Denise’s case and who recently claimed to know where the little girl is, now an adult (read our article: The shocking revelation of the former magistrate: “Denise Pipitone is alive and has a daughter”).
Yesterday, the “social” appeal of Piera Maggio who, between continuous revelations and denials, does not give up and continues to search for her child, using every tool at his disposal. Socials too.
