PM Trudeau was stoned after campaign rally

LONDON (Canada) – Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was hit by some gravel on Monday while boarding a campaign bus here in London. The video of the incident was released on the CTV website. It shows that part of the handful of small stones fell into the prime minister and his guards.

In response, Trudeau with noting about not to deviate from the planned vaccination campaign against COVID-19 said, “Yes, in this country there are a small number of marginalized people who are angry and do not believe in science.”

Citizens who disagree with Trudeau’s vaccine policies came to a meeting where he was attending. Among them were supporters of the People’s Party of Canada, who protest against the mandatory vaccination and defend the rights and freedoms of the country’s residents.

However, Trudeau’s main rivals, Erin O’Toole and Jagmeet Singh condemned the incident on Twitter. As of July, half of Canada’s residents over the age of 12, or more than 16.7 million, were vaccinated against COVID-19.
