TORONTO – Outgoing Premier reconfirmed, but the victory has a bitter taste: Justin Trudeau has, again, a minority government.
Almost useless elections, therefore, those desired and absolutely wanted by the leader of the Liberals in full pandemic.
The balances remain practically the same as those of the outgoing government: there are no numbers for the majority because the Liberals have stopped at 158 seats (for the majority, 170 are needed).
Erin O’Toole’s Conservatives reached 119. The others: 34 Bloc Quebecois, 25 NDP and 2 Green Party. No seats for Maxime Bernier’s People Party.
