Covid-19, tornano a salire decessi e contagi

TORONTO – Altri 23 decessi in Ontario, ieri: il numero delle vittime del Covid-19 dall’inizio della pandemia sale a 12.606. E tornano a salire, dopo un solo giorno di tregua, le ospedalizzazioni: ieri negli ospedali c’erano 1.392 pazienti contro i 1.332 di appena 24 ore prima. Calano lievemente solo le presenze nelle terapie intensive: 177 ieri, il giorno precedente erano 182. Dunque, mentre il numero di pazienti in ICU sembra “fluttuare”, i ricoveri legati al Covid-19 sono di nuovo in netto aumento e l’ultima volta che i ricoveri erano stati così alti risale allo scorso 15 febbraio quando negli ospedali c’erano 1.550 pazienti Covid…

Here we provide a daily update of the data available for select countries and jurisdictions as of April 14, 2022, at 4:20pm EST.

On Thursday, health officials in Italy logged 64,951 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed 15.5 million. Of the cumulative total number of cases 91.1% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, authorities have reported 149 Covid-related deaths for a total of 161,336 fatalities attributable to Covid-19.

TORONTO – Another 23 deaths in Ontario, today: the number of victims of Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic rises to 12,606. And after just one day of respite, hospitalizations are starting to rise again: today there were 1,392 patients in hospitals against 1,332 just 24 hours earlier. Daily update of Ontario’s Covid-19 Vaccination Campaign

With the largest vaccination campaign underway, the province has administered more than 32.3 million doses into the arms of Ontarians. According to data last updated on April 14, numbers released by the Ministry of Health show health officials administered 38,456 vaccine doses on Wednesday, up from 38,191 doses the day prior.
