Status update of Covid-19 cases worldwide

Here we provide a daily update of the data available for select countries and jurisdictions as of June 27, 2021 at 5:15pm EST.

On Sunday, health officials in Mexico logged 5,051 new infections. The total number of confirmed positive cases now surpass 2.5 million. Of the cumulative total, 79.4% are considered recovered. Since yesterday, Covid-related deaths increased by 175, bringing the country’s total fatalities to 232,521.

The new guidelines for immunized: no masks in small groups

TORONTO – A small but significant step toward a return to pre-pandemic normality in Canada. This is confirmed by the new guidelines announced by the federal authorities for all people immunized against Covid-19, that is, who received the two doses of vaccine and who waited another two weeks after the recall injection. In the new protocols, there is no generalized ‘free all’.
